Purchasing Manager

About the role

Agroshipping LLC is seeking a Purchasing Manager to establish and lead a centralized procurement function for its regional GCC operations. The role will involve building supplier relationships, managing a procurement team, and driving cost‑efficiency across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Set up new procurement and purchasing agreements with regional and international suppliers.
• Lead and develop a team of procurement and administration staff.
• Evaluate supplier products in the GCC region and Asia.
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
• Analyze and review supplier agreements, including terms, payment, delivery and logistics, to achieve efficiencies and cost reductions.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of commercial procurement and purchasing experience at a corporate level.
• Degree or MBA qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement management experience with strong people‑management skills.
• Solid understanding of logistics, supply chain management and purchasing.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities, with an ethical business approach.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to travel regionally and internationally.

Required skills

• High‑level proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
