PYP Inclusion Teacher (Start April 2026)

About the role

The GEMS World Academy‑Dubai is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Years Programme (PYP) Inclusion Teacher to join its vibrant community from April 2026. You will work within a collaborative primary department that values inquiry, reflection, and caring learning environments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess inclusive PYP lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Collaborate with subject teachers, learning support staff and families to design individualized learning plans.
• Use data‑driven approaches to monitor student progress and adapt instruction.
• Contribute to the development of the department’s curriculum and assessment practices.
• Promote the IB Learner Profile values and foster a supportive classroom culture.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB setting.
• Strong commitment to inclusive education and the IB philosophy.
• Ability to work effectively with a multicultural student body and staff.
• Excellent communication and reflective practice skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the IB PYP framework and its approaches to teaching.
• Experience designing and implementing differentiated instruction.
• Proficiency in using student data to inform instructional decisions.
