QA/QC Engineer – Civil (Construction)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer specialized in civil construction to ensure that all building activities meet approved drawings, project specifications, and client quality expectations. The role involves close coordination with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain high standards of workmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Implement QA/QC procedures, Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Conduct site inspections and verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Review material submittals, method statements, shop drawings and inspection requests.
• Monitor testing and inspection activities, maintaining accurate quality records.
• Prepare inspection reports, Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective action reports and other documentation.
• Coordinate quality‑related matters with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
• Identify quality issues and drive timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain complete QA/QC documentation for project handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in civil construction QA/QC, including at least 2 years in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, inspections and construction standards.
• Proven ability to prepare quality reports and manage NCRs.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
