QA/QC Engineer – Handover (Residential)

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will lead the inspection and handover process for residential projects, ensuring that all client expectations are met and that any defects are identified and resolved before final delivery. This role combines on‑site inspections, snag management, and close coordination with contractors and the projects team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct all required inspections, generate punch lists, and create daily/weekly progress reports.
• Review and respond to onsite inspection requests within 48 hours.
• Manage and track customer snags, disputed items, and escalation processes.
• Coordinate regular progress meetings with main contractors and maintain updated project documentation.
• Perform pre‑handover inspections, verify rectification of snags, and provide continuous updates to stakeholders.
• Utilise relevant portals and systems for snagging, reporting, and evidence collection.
• Prepare presentations, analytical reports, and recommendations to improve operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance within construction or real‑estate projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and contractors.
