QA/QC Engineer

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will ensure that all electrical and instrumentation (E&I) construction activities meet ADNOC requirements, project specifications, and international standards. This role involves developing inspection plans, monitoring site work, and delivering the final quality dossier for handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Inspection & Test Records (ITRs) and related quality documentation.
• Monitor site activities to verify compliance with approved procedures, specifications and quality requirements.
• Identify, raise, track and close Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and verify corrective actions.
• Conduct material receiving inspections and verify against approved submittals and standards.
• Inspect electrical installations, including cable trays, LV/MV panels, switchgear, earthing systems and cathodic protection.
• Inspect instrumentation installation, tubing, wiring, calibration certificates and support loop‑checking and commissioning activities.
• Review and verify engineering documents such as P&IDs, electrical drawings, cable schedules and as‑built drawings.
• Coordinate preparation of the Final Quality Dossier and project hand‑over documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of QA/QC experience in E&I for oil & gas EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, specifications and international quality standards.
• Proven ability to develop and manage ITPs, NCRs and quality documentation.
• Experience with material inspection, electrical and instrumentation testing and commissioning.
