QA/QC Engineer – Operations & Maintenance (Water Networks)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to lead quality assurance and control activities for water utility projects, focusing on the operation and maintenance of water, wastewater and recycled water infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC for water networks, recycled water, potable water, pumping stations and utilities operation & maintenance projects.
• Monitor O&M activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements and quality objectives.
• Develop, implement and control procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection reports and quality records.
• Conduct inspections, document non‑conformities and manage corrective actions to closure.
• Coordinate with project, operations, maintenance and client teams to embed quality requirements throughout all activities.
• Support internal and external quality audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the UAE water utility sector, specifically in operation and maintenance of water, wastewater and recycled water projects.

Required skills

• Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
• Development and implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation.
• Conducting inspections, managing non‑conformities and corrective actions.
• Coordination with multidisciplinary project and client teams.
