QA/QC Engineer – Pipeline EPC Projects

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will own all quality assurance and control activities for the pipeline EPC contract, acting as the focal point for quality management across the project. This role ensures compliance with project documentation, standards, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and promote the Quality Management System for the pipeline EPC package.
• Coordinate audit schedules, quality planning, and EPC contractor equipment criticality assessments.
• Manage vendor and contractor inspection activities, including creation, communication, and review of inspection and test plans (ITPs).
• Attend pre‑inspection meetings and ensure inspection performance metrics are effectively maintained.
• Review inspection/quality surveillance reports and coordinate with SMEs in welding, NDE, and coating.
• Conduct and support compliance audits, self‑audits, and inspections throughout all EPC phases.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, maintain audit/action matrices, and participate in key customer quality reviews.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or diploma in Quality.
• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience on major onshore pipeline projects.
• Hands‑on experience with welding/NDT and all EPC phases.
• Fluent English; French or Arabic is an advantage.
