QA/QC Manager – Interior Fit‑Out Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and control for interior design and fit‑out projects in Dubai. The role involves establishing and maintaining quality standards, coordinating inspections, and ensuring all works meet approved drawings and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQP) and QA/QC procedures for interior fit‑out projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements and material submittals; prepare Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and checklists.
• Conduct regular site inspections of joinery, carpentry, flooring, ceilings, partitions, painting, doors, furniture and architectural finishes.
• Coordinate material inspections, manage and close NCRs, observations and corrective/preventive actions.
• Collaborate with consultants, clients, project managers, site engineers, subcontractors and suppliers on quality matters.
• Perform internal quality audits, monitor subcontractor performance and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection records and quality registers.
• Identify quality risks, implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with ISO standards and project‑specific requirements.
• Support project handover, snagging, de‑snagging and final quality documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• 7–12 years of QA/QC experience, preferably in interior design and fit‑out projects.
• Proven experience with commercial, residential, hospitality, retail or office fit‑out works.
• Strong knowledge of architectural finishes, joinery, carpentry, ceilings and related trades.
