Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure

About the role

AtkinsRealis is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its infrastructure team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for post‑contract commercial administration on high‑profile projects across the UAE, ensuring accurate cost control and effective contract management.

Key responsibilities

• Post‑contract commercial administration, including re‑measurement and interim/final account assessments.
• Preparation of monthly cost reports, variation orders and contractor claim evaluations.
• Management of provisional sums, prime costs, nominated sub‑contractors, insurances and performance bonds.
• Attendance at design and commercial meetings to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑degree experience in contracts and commercial management, preferably on hospitality, residential, building or infrastructure projects.
• At least 4 years in a consultant or client‑side role.
• Strong technical writing and English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QS software Cost X or equivalent.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contract administration.
• Core quantity surveying competencies.
