Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will manage the commercial and contractual aspects of audio‑visual (AV) projects, ensuring accurate valuation of work, effective change control and optimal financial performance across a portfolio of installations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct contract reviews with project teams and sub‑contractors at contract award.
• Ensure project teams understand commercial and contractual terms.
• Review procurement packages, secure favourable commercial terms and authorize subcontractor payments.
• Measure and value on‑site work, preparing valuations, progress applications and invoices.
• Produce monthly cost reports, financial forecasts and cash‑flow projections.
• Identify, record and track variations, change orders and compensation events.
• Prepare estimates and quotations for additional works, negotiating to maintain profitability.
• Maintain accurate cost records in collaboration with Project and Site Managers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quantity surveying or cost control within AV or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts, procurement processes and change management.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary project teams.
