Radiography Technician (NDT / Non‑destructive Testing)

About the role

The Radiography Technician will join Sigma Specialized Inspection (SSI), part of Mazrui International, to support the Operations department with non‑destructive testing (NDT) activities across oilfield and industrial projects in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Follow approved NDT test methods, techniques, procedures and work instructions as defined by project requirements and company policy.
• Perform radiography inspections in accordance with client specifications, industry codes and SSI procedures.
• Interpret industrial codes, standards and specifications and document results using the company’s reporting system.
• Process and interpret radiography films, preparing detailed inspection reports for operations.
• Conduct magnetic particle (MT), penetrant (PT) and hardness tests when required, after appropriate training.
• Maintain clean work areas, ensure good housekeeping and uphold health‑and‑safety standards within the HSEQ department.
• Document inspection results, prepare reports and ensure proper record keeping.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months (3 years) of experience in radiography NDT.
• Ability to read and interpret industrial codes, standards and radiography films.
• Commitment to health and safety practices and good housekeeping.
• RPO certification is an advantage.
• Reports to the Operations Coordinator and Operations Lead.
