Radiology Technologist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Radiology Technologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high‑quality images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Perform X‑ray, CT, MRI, mammography and fluoroscopy examinations according to physician orders.
• Prepare, position and educate patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images and reduce anxiety.
• Apply radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles throughout all procedures.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any faults promptly.
• Review image quality before submission and ensure compliance with diagnostic standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of each imaging study.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians and other healthcare professionals for timely diagnosis.
• Assist with contrast media administration following established protocols.
• Adhere to infection‑control policies and keep the imaging suite clean and safe.

Required profile

• Relevant radiology technologist qualification and licensure.
• Experience in operating X‑ray, CT, MRI, mammography and fluoroscopy equipment.
• Strong understanding of radiation protection and ALARA principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to assess image quality.
• Good communication skills to explain procedures and reassure patients.
