Real Estate Accountant

About the role

JAR Real Estate is seeking a full‑time Real Estate Accountant to join its Dubai office. You will be responsible for managing the company’s financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE real‑estate accounting regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and periodic reports.
• Oversee rental contract and post‑dated cheque (PDC) management.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and general ledger accounts.
• Handle multi‑company accounting for cross‑charging and transfer pricing.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Support quarterly and annual audit processes.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve financial efficiency.
• Provide financial insights to aid strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA preferred).
• Proven experience as an accountant within the UAE real‑estate sector.
• Strong understanding of UAE tax laws and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with real‑estate accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Knowledge of the PACT Revenue accounting system.
