About the role
Join the Waldorf Astoria team as a Recreation Attendant and be the first point of contact for guests enjoying the pool and beach facilities. You will create a welcoming atmosphere, ensure safety, and deliver memorable experiences that reflect the brand’s hospitality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with towels, sunbeds, umbrellas, and recreational equipment.
- Maintain clean and inviting pool and beach areas, including furniture, showers, and cabanas.
- Collect used towels, restock clean ones, and monitor inventory to prevent loss.
- Observe pool activity, identify hazards, and address or report issues promptly.
- Enforce health, safety, and facility rules while adhering to hotel standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Required profile
- Previous experience in recreation or a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Intermediate English language proficiency.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
