Regional Communications Director - Middle East, KSA & Africa

About the role

Thales is seeking a Regional Communications Director to lead internal and external communications across the Middle East, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Africa. Based in Dubai, you will ensure that all messaging aligns with the Group’s business strategy and Thales standards while supporting the region’s commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy for the region, covering both internal and external audiences.
• Coordinate with the Head of International Communications and the Head of Region to strengthen the Group’s brand and image.
• Act as the primary communications liaison for regional directors, marketing heads, key account managers and HR representatives.
• Collaborate with Global Business Units and functional communication teams (branding, media relations, digital, events, etc.) to deliver consistent messaging.
• Monitor and optimise the return on investment of communications activities, challenging the status quo where needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior communications or public‑relations roles within a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of the Middle East, KSA and African markets.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
