Regional Director

About the role

The Regional Director will lead our client’s Middle East operations from the Dubai office, shaping and executing a strategy that aligns with the corporate vision. You will act as the primary in‑market expert, helping companies expand across the UAE, Qatar, Egypt and the wider MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide market intelligence and regulatory guidance to support client expansion in the Middle East.
• Develop and maintain strategic contacts and partnerships to generate leads and business‑matching opportunities.
• Identify and secure revenue through partnerships, programmes and services.
• Produce country market briefs outlining trends, opportunities and entry strategies for senior stakeholders.
• Plan and execute events, seminars and business missions to generate qualified leads.
• Oversee the local team, ensuring effective office management and development.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of international business development experience with NGOs, trade commissions, chambers of commerce or business councils.
• Extensive network of private‑sector contacts and familiarity with government and chamber stakeholders in the region.
• Strong knowledge of industry landscapes, business practices and ecosystem dynamics.
• Ability to navigate cross‑cultural differences and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Preferably fluent in Arabic.
• Proven leadership, hands‑on approach and self‑motivation.
