Regional Public Relations Event Manager

About the role

Geely Auto Group is looking for a dynamic Regional Public Relations Event Manager to lead PR and event activities across the GCC markets. The role will shape the brand’s regional communication strategy, drive media collaborations, and deliver high‑impact events that boost brand awareness and consumer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage regional PR, media, influencer, and content creator campaigns across GCC markets.
• Develop and execute brand and product‑level PR communication plans, including press releases and media announcements.
• Plan and coordinate media test drives, product reviews, interviews, and other media engagement activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with automotive, lifestyle, and influencer media, as well as key industry stakeholders.
• Monitor regional Share of Voice, media performance, and competitor activity; propose improvement strategies.
• Create monthly PR calendars, media topics, and communication plans in coordination with local markets.
• Lead backlink building and digital PR initiatives to support SEO performance of Geely websites.
• Plan and execute regional events such as new model launches, media conferences, exhibitions, and brand activations.
• Manage regional sponsorships, strategic partnerships, co‑branding initiatives, and customer engagement events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public relations, media relations, and event management, preferably within the automotive sector.
• Strong ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate with multiple market stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills in English; ability to adapt messaging to diverse GCC cultures.
• Analytical mindset to track media metrics, Share of Voice, and competitor activities.
