Registered Nurse – Dermatology & Laser Therapy

About the role

The Registered Nurse – Dermatology & Laser Therapy provides specialised laser treatments and nursing care within a busy clinic environment. The role combines advanced laser expertise with core nursing responsibilities to ensure safe, effective, and patient‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, obtain consent, and explain laser procedures.
• Operate and maintain laser equipment for hair removal, pigmented lesions, thread veins, facial rejuvenation, acne treatment, chemical resurfacing, and wrinkle reduction.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑treatment care instructions and manage patient expectations.
• Assist physicians during consultations and minor procedures, administer medications, and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection‑control standards.
• Organise patient flow, escort ill patients when required, and support overall clinic operations.

Required profile

• UAE DHA licence as a Registered Nurse and Laser Technician.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or similar setting.
• At least 2 years of experience performing cosmetic laser treatments.
• Experience in dermatology or cosmetic surgery settings is preferred.

Required skills

• Laser equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Laser hair removal and various cosmetic laser procedures.
• Skin analysis and treatment planning.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for documentation and communication.
