Registered Nurse II – Postnatal Care

About the role

Danat Al Emarat Hospital is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse II to provide postnatal care for mothers and newborns within its Women & Children services. Reporting to the Assistant Nurse Manager, you will deliver evidence‑based nursing care in a high‑acuity, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive postnatal assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Support breastfeeding, newborn care, patient education, and discharge planning.
• Administer medications safely, monitor patient status, and escalate care when needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and allied health professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with DOH/DHA and JCI standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or equivalent Associate Degree with NCLEX/Canadian license).
• Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification nursing experience, preferably in postnatal, maternity, or women & children services.
• Eligibility for a DOH/DHA nursing license.
• Strong communication skills and a patient‑centred approach.
