Registered Nurse - Maternity Ward

About the role

The Maternity Ward at NMC Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns. You will work closely with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure safe, high‑quality patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient care throughout admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Perform systematic patient assessments, record vital signs, and identify abnormalities.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with the interprofessional team.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and monitor for reactions.
• Provide wound care, assist in medical procedures, and prepare patients for examinations.
• Deliver emotional support and education to patients and families.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification with current licensure.
• Experience in maternity or neonatal care preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
