Registered Nurse – Medical & Surgical

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialised in medical‑surgical care to join our team in Dubai. The role involves delivering safe, compassionate care to patients while collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient care with kindness, respect and compassion, adhering to UAE Code of Conduct and licensure requirements.
• Speak up about safety concerns and ensure effective communication with the care team.
• Maintain up‑to‑date mandatory training and competency, following the NMC Nurse Competency Matrix.
• Support, mentor and supervise pre‑registration nurses, newly hired staff and students as required.
• Participate in quality improvement activities, incident reporting and audits.
• Educate patients about their health, involve them in recovery and promote positive patient experiences.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse licence recognised by the UAE regulator.
• Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice and continuous learning.
• Ability to work within scope of practice and recognise personal competence limits.
• Willingness to teach, mentor and contribute to a learning culture.

Required skills

• Clinical nursing skills in medical‑surgical settings.
• Competence in using medical devices safely.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of quality improvement and incident reporting processes.
