Registered Nurse - OT

About the role

The Registered Nurse – OT will provide safe, compassionate care within the operating theatre environment, adhering to UAE Code of Conduct and NMC regulations. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Speak up on safety concerns and treat all patients with kindness and respect.
• Deliver nursing care within your scope of practice and maintain competence through mandatory training.
• Support and supervise pre‑registration nurses, new staff, and students, participating in mentorship and preceptorship.
• Report untoward, serious, and near‑miss incidents promptly and cooperate with investigations and audits.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, adhere to NMC policies, and promote a positive practice environment.

Required profile

• Registered nurse licensed by the UAE regulator.
• Commitment to patient safety, continuous learning, and professional development.
• Willingness to engage in teaching, mentorship, and performance improvement activities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of NMC Nurse Competency Matrix and relevant clinical guidelines.
• Ability to use medical devices only after appropriate training and competency verification.
