Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist

About the role

We are a reputable medical equipment and surgical consumables distributor in Dubai seeking a qualified Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist to join our growing team immediately. The role focuses on ensuring compliance of medical devices with UAE Ministry of Health regulations and supporting product registration and market entry.

Key responsibilities

• Classify and register medical devices with the UAE Ministry of Health.
• Apply for import permits and manage shipment clearance at ports.
• Coordinate with distributors and manufacturers to obtain required documentation.
• Handle field actions and product recalls as needed.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with UAE MOH regulations for importing and distributing medical devices.
• Obtain quality certificates (ISO, GMP, FSC, CEC) from manufacturers.
• Manage registration and renewal of all company MOH licences.
• Advise internal teams on regulatory requirements for each medical device.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities during inspections.
• Ensure timely submission of data reports and adherence to quality standards.

Required profile

• B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm‑D degree.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in the UAE.
• Active UAE Ministry of Health pharmacist licence (mandatory).

Required skills

• Working knowledge of UAE MOH laws and medical‑device regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong leadership and decision‑making capabilities.
