Regulatory Counsel

About the role

As a Regulatory Counsel at Taptap Send, you will join a fast‑growing fintech focused on cross‑border financial services. Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will support new product launches, market expansions, and ongoing regulatory compliance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the legal and regulatory aspects of new product launches and existing product development.
• Work cross‑functionally with product, compliance, finance, and information security teams to address day‑to‑day regulatory challenges.
• Collaborate with the broader legal team to identify, evaluate, and discuss risks, developing creative solutions that align business priorities with a changing regulatory landscape.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to devise actionable solutions for regulatory or licensing matters.
• Support license applications for new market entries, providing legal expertise throughout the process.
• Negotiate and draft agreements, and communicate legal issues to both legal and non‑legal audiences.
