Relationship Manager (Digital Asset Banking)

About the role

Join a forward‑looking digital bank that sits at the intersection of traditional banking, fintech and digital assets. As a Relationship Manager you will own a strategically important portfolio of international VASP and fintech clients, helping them launch and grow their operations in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and onboard VASPs, crypto exchanges, fintech firms, payment providers, custodians and other digital‑asset businesses.
• Build a pipeline of Mandarin‑speaking clients entering or expanding within the UAE.
• Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business model, commercial objectives and banking needs.
• Structure and price corporate‑banking solutions such as operating accounts, payment rails, treasury services, escrow arrangements and trade‑finance facilities.
• Partner with Compliance, AML, Legal and Risk teams to conduct enhanced due‑diligence and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with product teams to relay market feedback and support new digital‑asset banking product development.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in banking, fintech or digital‑asset services.
• Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese for client coverage.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to work with senior stakeholders across corporate banking, risk and technology.
• Experience handling high‑risk VASP onboarding and enhanced due‑diligence processes.
