Renewals Specialist

About the role

The Renewals Specialist supports the renewal of software maintenance and subscription contracts, working closely with customers, channel partners and internal teams to protect recurring revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor upcoming support expiration dates and proactively engage customers and channel partners.
• Prepare and share renewal quotations at least 90 days in advance, following vendor policies.
• Follow up with customers to resolve renewal‑related issues in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with distributors and resellers to track renewal progress and mitigate risks.
• Maintain accurate renewal opportunities in the CRM, including status, expected close dates and forecast data.
• Produce a rolling 120‑day renewal forecast and weekly reports highlighting expected revenue and high‑risk opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with vendor licensing policies and internal processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in sales support, inside sales, renewals or commercial operations.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM/ERP systems, preferably Salesforce.
