Resident Engineer – Construction Supervision Building

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Resident Engineer to join our construction supervision team in Abu Dhabi. You will act as the on‑site representative, overseeing all building construction activities and ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all on‑site construction activities to ensure adherence to approved plans, specifications, and local building codes.
• Conduct daily site inspections and produce comprehensive progress reports, highlighting issues and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain schedule compliance.
• Implement and enforce site safety protocols, lead safety briefings, and investigate incidents as needed.
• Review and approve construction materials, equipment, and workmanship to uphold quality standards.
• Manage technical documentation, including daily logs, inspection records, test reports, and as‑built drawings.
• Identify and resolve construction‑related issues promptly, providing recommendations for corrective measures.
• Communicate project status, concerns, and updates to project management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project budgets and costs, flagging any variances.
