Resident Engineer - Electrical (2-Month Assignment)

About the role

The Resident Engineer – Electrical will lead sub‑station projects in Abu Dhabi for a two‑month fixed‑term assignment. You will ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget and quality expectations while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of sub‑station projects from initiation to close‑out.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation and risk management.
• Review engineering designs, drawings and specifications for compliance with client requirements and standards.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment and services with contractors, suppliers and vendors.
• Supervise construction activities, conduct site inspections, HSE audits and quality‑assurance checks.
• Organise progress review meetings, verify scope, witness site and factory acceptance tests, and oversee commissioning.
• Manage project documentation such as contracts, permits, NOCs, drawings and as‑built records.
• Provide technical guidance to the project team, resolve technical queries and mitigate risks.
• Ensure adherence to environmental, safety and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer registration or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience managing sub‑station or similar electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of industry standards, codes and regulatory guidelines.
