Resident Engineer

About the role

AESG is seeking a Resident Engineer to provide technical leadership and quality assurance for construction projects in Dubai. The role acts as the Engineer's Representative, overseeing site supervision and ensuring works comply with contract documents, designs, specifications, and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary site supervision teams, including structural, architectural, MEP, HSE, quality and inspection personnel.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between the client, contractor, authorities and design consultants.
• Monitor construction progress against the approved programme and review contractor methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies and manage stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering complex building and infrastructure projects within the UAE.
• Strong leadership, contractual and technical expertise.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and contractor performance.
• Excellent understanding of local statutory requirements and international best practices.
