Resident Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to join our construction management team in Dubai. The role involves overseeing all on‑site engineering activities for large‑scale projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate on‑site engineering tasks, reviewing construction methodologies, work plans and technical submittals.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to verify adherence to design specifications and local building codes.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and keep projects on schedule.
• Prepare and present detailed progress reports, identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with local authorities to obtain permits and approvals.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on‑site.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in civil or construction engineering.
• Proven experience managing large construction projects on site.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
