Resort Driver – Remote Island

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Driver to join the team at Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara, a remote luxury resort in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves transporting guests, team members and management safely across the resort and to nearby destinations while upholding the brand’s high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe and punctual transportation for guests, staff, management and company personnel as assigned.
• Operate resort vehicles in full compliance with UAE traffic regulations.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections, report maintenance or safety issues, and keep vehicles clean and in good working order.
• Handle airport transfers, city trips, staff shuttles and other operational transport needs.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, fuel consumption and vehicle activity.
• Adapt to the remote resort environment and flexible scheduling, including weekends and public holidays.
• Deliver courteous, professional service in line with company policies and safety standards.

Required profile

• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Responsible, punctual and safety‑conscious.
• Willingness to live and work on a remote island location.
