Response Center Operator – Autonomous Vehicles

About the role

The Response Center Operator will monitor the operational status of autonomous vehicles and coordinate rapid responses to incidents, accidents, and emergencies. This role requires strong situational awareness, clear communication, and the ability to act quickly and accurately under pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor real‑time operational status of autonomous vehicles.
• Identify and respond to traffic accidents, emergencies, and operational incidents.
• Dispatch emergency work orders to relevant ground‑support teams promptly.
• Coordinate on‑site response activities with operational teams.
• Escalate incidents according to established procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with ground teams throughout incidents.
• Execute map interruption processes in line with operational guidelines.
• Track incident progress to resolution or further escalation.
• Record accurate details of incidents, actions taken, and responses.
• Follow all emergency response and operational procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a control room, command centre, emergency response centre, fleet monitoring environment, or similar operation (preferred).
• Strong situational awareness and decision‑making ability.
• Ability to remain calm and focused during incidents.
