Restaurant Captain – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Captain leads the restaurant and room‑service teams at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, ensuring every guest receives the highest standard of food and beverage service. This senior position combines hands‑on service delivery with staff supervision, training and operational oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional food and beverage service to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction.
• Supervise daily restaurant and room‑service operations, maintaining Anantara service standards.
• Open and close shifts according to operational procedures and manager checklists.
• Control revenue, cash and check procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain a safe, clean and hygienic working environment.
• Coordinate shift operations, including staffing, reservations, floor plans and guest requests.
• Resolve operational challenges such as last‑minute bookings, staffing shortages and guest concerns.
• Monitor service quality throughout meal periods and ensure adequate floor coverage.
• Oversee team grooming, uniform standards and performance expectations.
• Report maintenance requirements and coordinate repairs.
• Manage staff scheduling, station rotation and daily team administration.
