Restaurant General Manager – Michelin‑Starred Indian Restaurant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant General Manager to launch and lead a new Michelin‑starred Indian restaurant on Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi. This is a high‑visibility position within a prestigious international concept, responsible for delivering world‑class dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations and maintain Michelin‑level service standards.
• Recruit, train, mentor and manage a high‑performing team.
• Drive guest satisfaction, build relationships with VIP and regular clientele.
• Manage financial performance, including budgets, labour costs and operational expenses.
• Collaborate with culinary and marketing teams to ensure consistent brand execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager, Restaurant Manager or Operations Manager in Michelin‑starred or high‑end fine‑dining establishments.
• Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and premium dining operations (highly desirable).
• Leadership ability to recruit, develop and motivate diverse teams.
• Commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, revenue generation and profitability.
• Fluent English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Professional presentation, cultural awareness and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑profile environment.
