Restaurant Hostess (Greek & Russian Speaking)

About the role

One&Only Resorts is seeking a personable Restaurant Hostess for Zest Restaurant at One&Only The Palm in Dubai. The role focuses on creating a warm welcome for guests, managing reservations and seating, and supporting the dining team to ensure a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Manage reservations, walk‑ins, and waiting lists efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables, present menus and communicate preferences to service and kitchen teams.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimise table turnover and service flow.
• Maintain an organised and up‑to‑date reservations system.
• Answer telephone inquiries regarding reservations, menu details and restaurant policies.
• Support the service team during peak hours and ensure the hostess stand, entrance area and menus are clean and presentable.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• Fluent in Greek and Russian, with excellent English communication skills.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a tidy front‑of‑house area.
