About the role

Sales Banking role drives the acquisition and growth of retail banking relationships by promoting Personal Finance, Auto Finance, and Credit Card products. The role focuses on building strong partnerships, understanding customers’ financial needs, and delivering tailored Shari’a‑compliant banking solutions to enhance satisfaction and achieve sales targets for Emirates Islamic Bank.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners and individual clients to promote Shari’a‑compliant products.
• Identify new corporate accounts and individual opportunities for onboarding customers seeking specialized financing solutions.
• Achieve cross‑selling targets of non‑assigned products and services to contribute to revenue and market presence.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and Islamic banking norms throughout loan and card application processes.
• Maintain high standards of customer service while meeting sales targets for Personal Finance, Credit Cards and Auto Loans.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer needs within the UAE retail banking sector.
• Provide professional advice on Personal Finance, Credit Card and Auto Loan products to customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE banking sales experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of market dynamics, policies and their implications.
• Proven ability to explore new markets and achieve cross‑selling targets.
• Experience creating customer awareness through mailers and personal visits.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking and public relations skills.
• Result‑oriented, capable of developing others and demonstrating perseverance.
