Rides Manager

About the role

The Rides Manager will lead the maintenance, operation and continuous improvement of all rides and attractions at Miral Experiences’ theme park in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Plan long‑term maintenance, shutdowns, overhauls and annual inspections, including non‑destructive testing and third‑party inspections.
• Oversee integration, commissioning and training for new rides and attractions.
• Maintain and enhance the preventative maintenance programme and ensure adequate spare‑part inventory.
• Utilize the CMMS (MAXIMO) to optimise maintenance practices, asset management and inventory control.
• Provide input for budgeting, resource planning and cost control.
• Review engineering drawings and participate in design reviews to communicate operational improvements.
• Manage installation processes to meet contract specifications and ensure seamless turnover from construction to operation.
• Lead a technical team, conduct performance reviews, handle disciplinary actions and ensure 100 % safety compliance.
• Coordinate with the HSE department for refurbishments, inspections and acceptance of facilities.
• Support park‑wide maintenance operations to meet targets for ride reliability, guest satisfaction and cleanliness.

Required profile

• Proven experience in rides, attractions or amusement‑park maintenance and operations.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical staff and conducting performance reviews.
• In‑depth knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
• Ability to work with engineering teams on design reviews and continuous improvement.
• Experience preparing budgets, resource plans and managing spare‑part inventories.
