Rockwork Foreman

About the role

The Rockwork Foreman will lead a multicultural team in the execution of rock handling operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high‑quality workmanship on site. Reporting to the Rockworks Supervisor, you will coordinate equipment, monitor production, and manage daily progress.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and plans to plan rockwork activities.
• Assist the Rockworks Supervisor with manpower distribution and equipment allocation.
• Monitor operator and equipment production, machine hours, and fuel consumption.
• Lead the team, motivate staff, and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare daily progress reports and communicate results to management.
• Identify hazards, coordinate with HSE, and investigate incidents.
• Oversee barge loading and off‑loading of rocks and ensure compliance with specifications.

Required profile

• Secondary School Certificate with a technical certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in rockwork or a similar industry.
• Ability to manage personnel from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive planning.
