Room Service Order Taker – In‑Room Dining

About the role

The Room Service Order Taker joins the Food & Beverage team at One&Only The Palm, Dubai, ensuring guests receive seamless in‑room dining experiences. You will be the primary point of contact for guests placing room service orders, delivering the brand’s promise of joy, creativity, and precision.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the In‑Room Dining desk in close cooperation with the IRD Manager.
• Ensure all activities comply with the One&Only The Palm Quality Management System.
• Assist in optimizing outlet utilization and maximizing revenue for the in‑room dining outlet.
• Undertake scheduled departmental training and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of service standards.
• Provide accurate order entry, coordination with kitchen and service teams, and timely delivery to guests.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in an upscale 5‑star hotel or resort environment.
• Strong food & beverage knowledge and the ability to serve high‑profile, diverse clientele.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Dynamic team player who can deliver the highest standard of service.
