Rooms Controller – 5‑Star Hotel

About the role
As a Rooms Controller in our prestigious 5‑star hotel, you will ensure the smooth operation of the Front of House department by managing room allocation and supporting guest services. You will work closely with housekeeping, reception and other teams to guarantee that every guest enjoys a flawless stay.
Key responsibilities
- Allocate guest rooms efficiently and update room status in real time.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfil guest requests.
- Maintain accurate records of room inventory and occupancy.
- Monitor and resolve any discrepancies in room assignments.
- Support the Front of House team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Rooms Controller in a 5‑star hotel.
- Excellent computer and typing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera property management system.
- Strong listening and comprehension abilities.
- Additional languages (Arabic, French, Russian, Spanish, German, Mandarin) are a plus.
