Rooms Controller – Guest Service Supervisor

About the role

The Rooms Controller / Guest Service Supervisor will ensure smooth room allocation and deliver exceptional guest service at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will act as a liaison between guests, housekeeping and other departments to guarantee a seamless stay.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate room assignments, arrivals, departures and VIP arrangements with housekeeping and other operational teams.
• Monitor room availability, status and guest movements to optimise allocation and support front‑office operations during peak periods.
• Assist guests with enquiries, special requests, resort activities and local information, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints and compliments, following up to achieve timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate guest records, reports and operational procedures, including Guest Service Questionnaires.
• Safeguard guests’ belongings and enforce safety, security and company policies.
• Support the Front Office team with registration, check‑out and other duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and contribute to a positive, service‑oriented team environment.
