Safety Officer – Construction HSE

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer to lead health, safety and environmental (HSE) initiatives across our active construction sites in Dubai. The role ensures compliance with UAE regulations and promotes a strong safety culture among all site personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure adherence to company safety policies and local environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits, hazard identification and formal risk assessments.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions and training sessions for workers and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents and near‑misses, prepare reports and enforce corrective actions.
• Maintain safety registers, compliance documentation and prepare HSE reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma with a NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on HSE management experience in UAE construction.
• Active ADOSH General Practitioner or Senior Practitioner registration.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE legislation and ADOSH requirements.
