Safety Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Safety Officer to join Noorka Logistics’ operations team in Dubai. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment across our logistics, warehousing and transportation activities, ensuring compliance with UAE health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of warehouses, loading areas, vehicles and other operational sites.
• Identify hazards, perform risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Organise safety inductions, toolbox talks, training sessions and awareness programmes.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, preparing detailed reports and maintaining safety records.
• Monitor emergency preparedness, fire safety equipment, evacuation procedures and conduct drills.
• Collaborate with supervisors and management to resolve safety concerns and support internal audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer or HSE professional, preferably in logistics, warehousing or transportation.
• Relevant safety certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or OSHA is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations.
