Safety Officer – Recycled Water

About the role

The Safety Officer will manage day‑to‑day health and safety operations on a recycled water and sewage construction project in Dubai. The role provides technical support to ensure compliance with local safety standards and contributes to a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily health‑and‑safety activities on the project site.
• Prepare and manage traffic diversion schemes for work zones.
• Maintain safety records and generate activity reports for risk assessment and risk management.
• Supervise construction activities related to recycled water, sewage and pumping stations.
• Ensure adherence to DM and RTA safety manuals and relevant engineering standards.
• Participate in road‑safety interviews and pre‑qualification processes.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Safety from a recognized institute.
• Minimum two years of experience in safety for network or infrastructure construction.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA H2S awareness, basic fire‑fighting and preventive medicine.
