Sales Engineer – Aftermarket Modernization (HVAC)

About the role

Carrier is seeking a Sales Engineer – Aftermarket Modernization to grow its HVAC retrofit business in Dubai. You will identify aging equipment, propose high‑efficiency solutions, and manage the full sales cycle from site assessment to order closure.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop HVAC modernization opportunities through customer visits and market activities.
• Visit sites, assess existing equipment, and determine replacement and retrofit requirements.
• Develop and present technical and commercial proposals for chillers, AHUs, FCUs, controls, pumps, and related systems.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, achieve sales and margin targets, and record activities in Carrier’s CRM.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, service, and operations teams to deliver suitable solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in HVAC sales, aftermarket, retrofit, or modernization.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to build customer relationships.
• Fluent English, based in Dubai with a valid UAE driving licence and own car.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including chillers, air‑handling units (AHUs), fan‑coil units (FCUs), pumps and controls.
• Ability to design and size energy‑efficient HVAC solutions.
• Proficiency with CRM tools for opportunity tracking.
