Sales Engineer – Fire Alarm & Protection Systems

About the role

The Sales Engineer will report to the Sales Manager and drive the growth of fire alarm and fire protection solutions across the Middle East and Africa region. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will join the Oil & Gas Sales‑Contracting team and help expand Johnson Controls' footprint in the MEA market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and close new sales opportunities for fire protection and alarm systems.
• Prepare competitive proposals, participate in tendering and bidding processes.
• Demonstrate technical expertise to differentiate Johnson Controls from competitors.
• Develop long‑term customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
• Manage multiple priorities with strong planning and time‑management skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant sales experience in the UAE, focusing on fire & gas systems for the oil & gas sector.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and delivering technical solutions.
• Strong business acumen, high‑energy, results‑driven attitude.
• Fluent English and a valid UAE driving licence.
