Sales Engineer – Infrastructure

About the role

NAFFCO is looking for an experienced, technically proficient and customer‑focused Sales Engineer – Infrastructure to join its Commercial team in Abu Dhabi. The role will drive sales and business development of NAFFCO’s infrastructure product range, including HDPE piping systems, manholes, fire hydrants and related civil infrastructure solutions across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities for infrastructure products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, developers and key stakeholders.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and client meetings.
• Review tender documents, BOQs, specifications and drawings to prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate technical submittals, material datasheets, compliance statements and shop drawings with the Engineering Department.
• Liaise with production, planning, supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely order execution.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and pricing strategies.
• Maintain sales forecasts, customer records and pipeline updates in the CRM system.
• Provide after‑sales technical assistance and resolve product‑related issues.
• Represent NAFFCO at exhibitions, trade shows and industry events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales of infrastructure or civil engineering products.
• Strong technical knowledge of HDPE piping systems, manholes and fire hydrants.
• Ability to manage tender processes and prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with contractors, consultants and developers.
• Result‑oriented with a track record of meeting sales targets.
