Sales Executive – Logistics

About the role

The Sales Executive will drive new business and expand existing accounts for Dolphin Shipping and Logistics’ freight forwarding, transport and warehousing services in Dubai. Working on‑site, you will act as the primary contact for prospective and current clients, delivering tailored logistics solutions that meet their needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across freight forwarding, multimodal transport and warehousing.
• Prospect, meet and qualify potential clients, preparing and presenting proposals and quotations.
• Negotiate contract terms in line with company policies and secure profitable deals.
• Coordinate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and high client satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, maintain accurate sales reports and update CRM records.
• Contribute to achieving revenue and margin targets set by the management.

Required profile

• Proven sales and business development experience in logistics, freight forwarding or related sectors.
• Strong client relationship management, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Solid understanding of international shipping, multimodal transport and warehousing concepts.
• Effective communication in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Dubai, manage time effectively and handle multiple accounts.
• Previous experience in the UAE with an existing client base; relationships with overseas agents are advantageous.
