Sales Manager – Business Development (B2B)

About the role

Ascend Innovations, an EdTech leader delivering AI, robotics, STEM and digital technology programmes, is seeking a Sales Manager – Business Development to expand its client base in Dubai. The role focuses on generating new B2B opportunities, managing the full sales cycle and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new business through outbound outreach, networking, referrals and market research.
• Identify, qualify and engage potential B2B clients and partnership opportunities.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process from lead generation to negotiation and deal closure.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, proposals and commercial discussions.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
• Develop relationships with decision‑makers, senior management and institutional stakeholders.
• Identify upselling, cross‑selling and partnership opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare pipeline reports, forecasts and performance updates.
• Represent Ascend at business meetings, networking events, conferences and exhibitions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding after closure.

Required profile

• 6–7 years of proven B2B sales and business development experience.
• Track record of lead generation, negotiation and closing deals.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Experience in the UAE market and a professional network in the region is preferred.
• UAE driving licence and Arabic language skills are a plus.
