Sales Manager – Commodity Trading & Petrochemicals

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our commodity trading and petrochemical business in Dubai. The role focuses on driving B2B sales, acquiring new customers, and expanding existing client relationships within the commodities sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow commodity and petrochemical revenue.
• Identify, pursue and secure new customers and business opportunities across target markets.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts and long‑term supply agreements.
• Monitor market trends, pricing movements, supply‑demand dynamics and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with trading, operations, logistics, finance and management teams to ensure successful transaction execution.
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure and account management.
• Prepare sales forecasts, market reports, pipeline updates and commercial proposals for senior management.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions and client meetings to build relationships and increase market presence.

Required profile

• 8+ years of proven sales and business development experience in commodity trading, petrochemicals, chemicals, energy or a closely related industry.
• Strong understanding of commodity and petrochemical markets, products, pricing structures and trading practices.
• Established network of customers, buyers, distributors, traders or industry contacts.
• Track record of achieving sales targets and generating profitable business.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage the complete sales process and deliver results.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical and market research skills.
